		<description>So, the other day I was listening to Bon Jovi&#039;s &quot;Living On a Prayer&quot;, and dissecting it to figure out what the crucial hooks of the song are.  Sure, the lyrics are great pop, and the guitar and drums give a fat, stadium type of sound.

But, it&#039;s that melodic bass line that&#039;s happily carrying the weight of the entire song.  It would be nowhere without the bass running by that major third.</description>
